Custom Faithful Venom is a texture pack that takes Minecraft’s default textures and bumps them up to 32x resolution. If you like the vanilla look but want everything sharper and cleaner, this is what you need.

It’s based on the original Faithful texture pack created by Vattic, with modifications and additions from AntVenom and SkitScape. You get HD blocks, a redesigned hotbar, brighter grass, and a refreshed UI that looks better without being totally different from vanilla.

How to Install

If OptiFine hasn’t updated for your Minecraft version yet, MCPatcher usually comes out the same day as Minecraft updates, so grab that instead.

Installation Steps

Download OptiFine (recommended) or MCPatcher
For OptiFine: run the installer and it’ll integrate with your Minecraft launcher
For MCPatcher: run the mcpatcher-X.X.X.jar file and click “patch”
Download Custom Faithful Venom from the link below
Open Minecraft, go to Options > Resource Packs > Open Pack Folder
Drop the texture pack zip file into that folder
Select it in Resource Packs and you’re good to go

Make sure OptiFine or MCPatcher are installed before using this pack, or Minecraft won’t load the HD textures.
