Cr3stal is a tiny Fabric mod that retextures End Crystals to look like Rubik’s Cubes. No new mechanics, no performance hit. It’s a purely visual swap that makes the End dimension a little more fun to look at, and it actually fits the floating, rotating End Crystal form pretty well.
What Cr3stal Does
End Crystals keep all their normal behavior. They still heal the Ender Dragon, still explode when hit, still sit on those obsidian pillars. The only thing that changes is how they look. If you’re tired of the default glass orb and want something a bit more quirky, this is worth the two-minute install.
Features
- Rubik’s Cube texture: End Crystals are fully retextured to match the classic six-color Rubik’s Cube look.
- No gameplay changes: Functionality is identical to vanilla. Nothing about the explosion, hitbox, or Dragon-healing behavior is touched.
- Lightweight: This mod does exactly one thing. No config files, no extra dependencies beyond Fabric API, no noticeable performance cost.
Requirements

How to Install
- Install Fabric Modloader for your Minecraft version if you haven’t already.
- Pick the correct Cr3stal version for your game from the download section below.
- Drop the downloaded .jar file into your
.minecraft/modsfolder. - Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile and load your world.
