The Chosen Enchantments Data Pack lets you skip the grinding and get exactly the enchanted book you want. Instead of rolling the dice at the enchanting table over and over, just name a book and turn it into the enchantment you need.
How to Create Your Enchanted Book
Here’s how simple it is:
- Use an anvil to rename a book. Give it the exact name of any Minecraft enchantment (Sharpness, Respiration, Mending, Protection, etc.)
- Throw the renamed book onto an enchanting table
- Throw a lapis lazuli onto the enchanting table
- You’ll see particles and hear a sound as the lapis gets consumed
- Pick up your new enchanted book with the enchantment you named
Important: Case Sensitive Names
Enchantment names are case sensitive. “Sharpness” works, but “sharpness” won’t. Check the official Minecraft wiki to make sure you’re spelling them exactly right. Currently, this data pack only supports English enchantment names.
