Chairs Data Pack for Minecraft

Every house needs chairs. Minecraft doesn’t come with actual chair blocks, so you’re stuck building makeshift ones out of stairs and slabs. This data pack fixes that problem. You get craftable chair blocks that look right and actually let you sit down. It’s a simple mod that makes decorating way easier.

What You Get

• Craftable chairs, Make your own chair blocks and place them anywhere
• Sitting mechanic, Right-click a chair to sit on it
• Easy recipes, Type /trigger chair_crafts to see all the crafting recipes in-game
• Works with resource pack, Includes a custom resource pack so chairs look proper

Installation

This data pack requires a resource pack to work correctly. You’ll need both files installed.

1. Download the data pack and resource pack files from the links below
2. For detailed setup steps, check out How To Download & Install Data Packs
3. Place the data pack in your world’s datapacks folder
4. Make sure the resource pack is activated in your game settings

Viewing Recipes

To see all the chair crafting recipes, use this command in-game:

/trigger chair_crafts

If you want a more visual way to browse recipes, install Just Enough Items (for Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (for Fabric).
