How many players can play Brave Souls at once?

There's no player limit built into the map, so you can have as many players as your server can support.

Can I play Brave Souls on a multiplayer server?

Yes. Just upload the map folder to your server's world directory and load it as you would any other world.

Why do I need to set Render Distance to 12?

The battlefields are large. With a lower render distance you'll see terrain pop-in or cut-off edges in the arenas, which can affect gameplay.

Can I switch between the 7 battlefields mid-game?

Yes, the map lets you change which arena you're playing in at any point without restarting.

Does Brave Souls work on Minecraft versions other than 1.12 and 1.12.2?

It's only tested for 1.12 and 1.12.2. Playing it on a different version may cause the map to break or not load correctly.

Before You Play

Only use Minecraft 1.12 or 1.12.2. Other versions will likely break things.
Set your Render Distance to 12 or higher. The arenas are big enough that lower settings will cut them off.
No cheating.

How to Install

Download the map file using the link below.
If it’s a zip file, extract it first.
Move the extracted folder into your .minecraft/saves directory.
Open Minecraft 1.12.2, go to Singleplayer, and select Brave Souls from the world list.
For multiplayer, upload the folder to your server’s world directory instead.
