Bountiful Baubles Mod Overview

Bountiful Baubles adds a whole bunch of Terraria-inspired accessories to Minecraft. We’re talking shields, charms, rings, necklaces, pendants, and special items that give you all kinds of buffs and immunities. Some of them drop from dungeon chests, others you craft. Every bauble gets a random modifier that gives you a small boost, similar to Terraria’s accessory system. You can reforge them at a Reforging Station if you don’t like the roll.

What You Get

Shields and Protective Gear

The mod adds several shields that go beyond basic protection. The Cobalt Shield blocks damage and makes you immune to knockback. The Obsidian Shield does the same but also gives you fire resistance and keeps you from burning. There’s also the Obsidian Skull as a standalone item for fire immunity without the shield.

Status Effect Immunity

A bunch of baubles let you ignore specific status effects. The Sunglasses block blindness. Forbidden Fruit keeps you from hunger and nausea. Vitamins counter weakness and mining fatigue. The Black Dragon Scale blocks wither, while the Bezoar blocks poison. There’s also a Mixed Color Dragon Scale that covers both wither and poison. If you want everything in one piece, the Ankh Charm gives you immunity to all of those plus more, and the Ankh Shield combines that with shield protection.

Speed and Movement

Ring of Overclocking blocks slowness and bumps your movement speed up by 7 percent. Ring of Free Action removes slowness and levitation effects and lets you move normally through cobwebs. Lucky Horseshoe makes you immune to fall damage. Balloon increases your jump height.

Teleportation and Utility

Recall Potion and Magic Mirror both teleport you back to spawn. Wormhole Potion lets you teleport to other players. Wormhole Mirror does both. Shulker Heart blocks levitation. There’s also Flywheel Ring and Advanced Flywheel Ring for RF storage if you’re into modpacks with tech mods.

Pendants and Special Effects

Gluttony Pendant makes you eat faster and gives you a buff when you consume food. Pride Pendant buffs you while you’re at full health. Wrath Pendant deals slightly more damage and buffs you when you land a critical hit. Broken Heart is weird but useful: lethal damage lowers your max health instead of killing you. Cross Necklace extends your invincibility period after taking damage.

Flare Gun

Shoots flares. Needs the Albedo mod to work properly.

Modifier System

Every bauble spawns with a random modifier. You can reroll them at a Reforging Station. The modifiers range from health boosts, armor increases, and attack speed boosts to movement speed bumps. Here’s what’s available:

• Half-hearted, Hearty (health bonuses)
• Hard, Guarding, Armored, Warding (armor bonuses)
• Jagged, Spiked, Angry, Menacing (attack damage, up to 8 percent)
• Brisk, Fleeting, Hasty, Quick (movement speed, up to 4 percent)
• Wild, Rash, Intrepid, Violent (attack speed, up to 8 percent)

This modifier system works with baubles from other mods too, so if you’re running multiple bauble-adding mods together, everything gets the benefits.
