Blackwind Metropolis is a massive steampunk map created by Ninaman. Instead of building on the ground, this entire city floats high above the clouds on interconnected islands. It’s packed with industrial structures, factories, power plants, and some seriously impressive mechanical creations.
What’s Inside the Map
This map has a ton going on. You’ll find floating islands connected by bridges and pathways, industrial factories with detailed interiors, power plants and processing facilities, an airship assembly bay with fully built airships, residential areas with houses and shops, a massive mechanical bird perched on the main tower, and the central city tower with tons of intricate details.
The whole thing has this cool “rusticpunk” vibe. Industrial meets fantasy. Everything feels lived-in and functional, like a real working city rather than just eye candy.
Installation Instructions
Getting this map into your game is straightforward:
- Download the map file below
- Extract the folder if it’s zipped
- Drop the folder into your Minecraft saves directory (.minecraft/saves)
- Load the world and start exploring
