What does Berry Good Mod actually change?

The main thing is bush placement. Instead of right-clicking to place berry bushes like any normal block, placement is now tied to the item's pips so you have to be deliberate. It also tweaks berry usage and adds some crafting recipes.

Do I need Blueprint Mod installed for this to work?

Yes. Blueprint is a required dependency. Berry Good will crash or fail to load without it. Grab it from 1Minecraft and drop it in your mods folder alongside Berry Good.

Why can't I see the new crafting recipes?

The mod doesn't show recipes in-game by default. Install Just Enough Items (JEI) and you'll be able to browse everything Berry Good adds from the recipe viewer.

Does Berry Good Mod work with other berry or food mods?

What Berry Good Changes

Bush Placement via Pips

Sweet berry bushes in vanilla right-click just like any other block, which means you place them constantly by accident. Berry Good moves placement to the pips on the item so you have to be intentional about it. That single fix makes building and farming near berries a lot less annoying.

General Berry Usage Tweaks

The mod also adjusts how berries work in a few other small ways, including some crafting recipes. The changes aren’t huge, but they make berries feel a bit more useful and less like an afterthought.

Install Just Enough Items to see all the crafting recipes in-game. Without it you’ll have no idea what’s been added.
