Tired of looking at the same purple Nether Portal every time you play? Alternate Portals gives you four totally different animated portal textures to choose from. Each one has custom particles that match the style, so stepping through your portal actually looks different depending on which one you pick. Best part: you can switch between them whenever you want without reinstalling anything.
Portal Textures Included
Matrix
Digital-style portal with a Matrix vibe. Green code falling through your portal frame. Looks trippy in the dark.
Wavy Squares
Distorted square patterns that ripple and shift. Creates an otherworldly, shimmering effect that feels alien.
Watery Ripples
Looks like water constantly rippling inside your portal. Smooth, flowing animations that feel calming.
RGB by Xubeir
Bright, colorful gradients that cycle through the spectrum. Looks amazing if you’re running shaders.
How to Use
