Abandoned mineshafts are natural cave systems that generate underground in most Overworld biomes. You’ll find wood, rails, support beams, and sometimes loot chests stuffed with useful stuff. They’re perfect for early game mining.

Head northeast toward the ocean and you’ll hit an abandoned mineshaft at (-97, -41, 386).

You spawn in a Bamboo Jungle on an island. Pandas might show up. The other side of the island has a Sparse Jungle with pigs, sheep, chickens, and melons growing wild.
Mineshaft is nearby at (32, ~, 32). There’s also a Lush Caves biome underground at (16, 8, 20) with axolotls and bats.

Start in a Meadow biome loaded with flowers, cows, pigs, sheep, and donkeys. Head west to find a river leading to a forest with oak and birch trees.

Rare spawn right inside a Windswept Savanna biome. Climb the cliffs to reach the peaks with coarse dirt and acacia trees. Floating islands to the north worth exploring.
Mineshaft is close at (112, ~, 64).

Wooded Hills spawn covered in oak and birch trees. Mineshaft at (48, ~, -128) with a creeper in a nearby tunnel.

Spawn at the edge of Desert Hills next to a Savanna with acacia trees. Huge abandoned mineshaft directly below you loaded with chests, iron ore, and gold ore.
Be ready for creepers and skeletons to spawn in the dark tunnels.
How to Use These Seeds
Open Minecraft and create a new world. In the world creation menu, paste the seed number into the seed field. Once you spawn, use the coordinates listed to navigate to each mineshaft. You can use F3 on Java Edition to see your current coordinates and use them as waypoints.
