Variant16x Mod

Variant16x Mod (1.17.1, 1.16.5) will allow you to create stairs, fences, pressure plates, and buttons from most vanilla materials. Additionally, it will introduce a variety of items such as new colors and slabs.

Features:

Wood/Hyphae Variants:

• All Wood, Hyphae, Stripped Wood and Stripped Hyphae blocks now have Slab, Stairs, Fence, Fence Gate, Pressure Plate and Button variants. All Wood and Stripped Wood variants, except Pressure Plates and Buttons, are flammable to Fire, and all Wood and Stripped Wood variants, except Buttons, are flammable to Lava, at the same rate as Wood. All Wood and Stripped Wood variants are usable in a Furnace, using the same ratio from Wood and Stripped Wood blocks. All Wood and Hyphae variants can also be stripped using an Axe, turning into the Stripped Wood or Hyphae variant. All variants, except Buttons, can also tune a Note Block to the Bass instrument. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Wooden Pressure Plates and Buttons.

Brick Variants:

• Bricks now have Pressure Plate and Button variants. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons.

End Stone Variants:

• End Stone blocks now have Slab, Stairs, Wall, Pressure Plate and Button variants. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons. Slab, Stairs and Wall variants are craftable in a Stonecutter. All variants are immune to the Enderdragon.

Honeycomb Variants:

• Honeycomb Blocks now have Slab, Stairs, Wall, Pressure Plate and Button variants. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons.

Purpur Variants:

• Purpur Blocks now have Wall, Pressure Plate and Button variants. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons. Wall variants are craftable in a Stonecutter.

Terracotta Variants:

• All Terracotta blocks now have Slab, Stairs, Wall, Pressure Plate and Button variants. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons. Terracotta Slab, Stairs and Wall variants are craftable in a Stonecutter. Dead Bushes can also be placed on Slab and Stairs variants.

Wool Variants:

• All Wool blocks now have Slab, Stairs, Wall, Pressure Plate and Button variants. All variants, except Pressure Plates and Buttons, are flammable to Fire, and all variants, except Buttons, are flammable to Lava, at the same rate as Wool. All variants are usable in a Furnace, using the same ratio from Wool blocks. All variants can also be harvested quickly using Shears. All variants, except Buttons, can also tune a Note Block to the Guitar instrument. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons.

Glass Variants:

• All Glass blocks now have Slab, Stairs, Wall, Pressure Plate and Button variants. All variants, and Glass blocks, interact with each other using ‘GlassLogic16x’ (see GlassLogic16x) to continue proper transparent rendering (Stairs (and Walls in 1.16.3+) are only partially supported) All variants, except Pressure Plates and Buttons, can only be harvested using Silk Touch tools. All variants, except Buttons, can also tune a Note Block to the Hat instrument. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons.

Obsidian Variants:

• Obsidian and Crying Obsidian blocks now have Slab, Stairs, Wall, Pressure Plate and Button variants. All variants, except Pressure Plates and Buttons, are not pushable by Pistons. All variants are also blast resistence to TNT, and are immune to the Enderdragon. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons. Slab, Stairs and Wall variants are craftable in a Stonecutter. All Crying Obsidian variants also produce crying particles (except Pressure Plate and Button variants), and emit a light level of 10.

Stone/Other Variants:

• All other included blocks (see Current Blocks) now have Slab, Stairs, Wall, Pressure Plate and/or Button variants. The Pressure Plate and Button variants act like Stone Pressure Plates and Buttons. Most Slab, Stairs and Wall variants are craftable in a Stonecutter.

Weighted Pressure Plate Variants:

• Diamonds can now be used to make a Middle Weighted Pressure Plate, while Netherite Ingots can be used to make a Super Heavy Weighted Pressure Plate. They are unique Pressure Plates, which are identical to other Weighted Pressure Plates, but the Middle Weighted Pressure Plate raises its power level by every 5 entities on top of it, while the Super Heavy Weighted Pressure Plate raises its power level every 15 entities. The Super Heavy Weighted Pressure Plate Item won’t burn in Lava or Fire.

Infested Variants:

• Andesite, Diorite, Granite, Mossy Cobblestone and Tuff blocks now have Infested variants. They are identical to other Infested variants. All variants, except Mossy Cobblestone, generate naturally in Gravelly Mountains, Modifed Gravelly Mountains, Mountain Edge, Mountains and Wooded Mountains biomes.

Flower Variants:

• Lilacs, Peonies, Rose Bushs and Sunflowers now have Small Flower variants. They are identical to other Small Flowers, including being used in Suspicious Stew crafting. Syringas provide Resistance, while Paeonias provide Strength, and Roses provide Speed. These three all generate in Flower Forest, while generating rarely in Birch Forest, Birch Forest Hills, Dark Forest, Dark Forest Hills, Forest, Tall Birch Forest, Tall Birch Hills and Wooded Forest biomes. Small Sunflowers provide Jump Boost, and generate somewhat rarely in Sunflower Plains biomes. Small Sunflowers, just like Sunflowers, also always face east. All variants also have a 1/4 chance to spawn a new Flower Item when using Bonemeal, similar to existing Tall Flowers.

Music Disc Variants:

• New Music Discs can be discovered! One plays ‘dog’, by C418. It can be obtain just like ‘cat’ and ’13’, by having a Skeleton kill a Creeper, or rarely generating in Dungeons and Woodland Mansions, and produces a Comparator output of 2. Another plays ‘eleven’, by C418. It can only be obtain by having a Skeleton kill a Creeper, and produces a Comparator output of 11.

Boat Variants:

• Crimson and Warped Planks can now be used to craft Boats! They are identical to regular Boats, except they won’t burn in Fire! However, they can’t be used in Lava.

Painting Variants:

• Four new Paintings can be placed! Try to find them all!
