Vanilla Enhanced Mod

Vanilla Enhanced Mod (1.20.1) aims to improve upon the vanilla game by adding some new features that align well with the vanilla aspects of the game. The mod currently adds some new content to the desert biomes, badlands and the End dimension.

The Ancient Pyramid is a new structure that generates in deserts, and they are a larger version of the vanilla desert temple and have many traps and enemies in them. You will also come across many oases while traversing through desert biomes. Mobs like scorpions and mummies are new inhabitants of the desert. There is also a new boss mob, called the Sandy Spirit, that can be summoned by right clicking the ancient shrine with one of the two treasure relics. Some additional desert specific biome features, blocks and items are also added by this mod.

When it comes to the badlands, terracotta ruins, bandit outposts, camps and wagons are a common sight. Be battle ready whenever navigating through this biome, as a conflict can be expected at any time. The Flintlock, a new firearm added by this mod, will be of great assistance to defend yourself. Vultures, bandit slashers and bandit boomers inhabit this biome.

New features added to the End dimension include a new biome called the Sculc. A new ore, called Enderite, will also be found to be generated at the bottom of the End islands. Enderite can be used similarly to Netherite to craft powerful gear. Endeologist is a new villager type that uses the End Altar block as his workstation. The Riftpearl is an item that you can obtain by looting End structures or by trading. Holding it and right clicking will allow you to instantly teleport to the overworld.
