The Prison Escape Manhunt Map
The Prison Escape Manhunt (1.20.4, 1.19.4) is a PvP/minigame map created by Trevor. There are two roles in this map: runner and hunter. The runner(s) must mine blocks and gather resources to escape while the hunter(s) pursues them. The runner(s) win if they escape the map and step on the pressure plates. The hunter(s) wins if they eliminate the/a runner.
So, how do you get away? The first method is to mine the map. This is easier said than done because the map is completely surrounded by obsidian and netherite blocks. Making a diamond pickaxe is absolutely necessary. The lava gate entrance is another option for escape. The runner would have to press a button and wait for the lava to flow out of the way, which would most likely be heavily guarded and blocked off. (There is an option to block it off with netherite blocks, limiting the runner(s) to breaking out of the map.) There are numerous other options to experiment with that can help balance the game.

- This map is best suited for 2-6 players.
- You should set Render Distance to 12 or upper.
