Features:

Mobs:

Bison:

  • spawns in mesa and red-desert biomes
  • bison are hostile to players, but don’t pose a huge threat as long as you keep your distance
  • when killed, bison drop Raw Bison which can be cooked into Bison Steak

Yak:

  • yak spawn in any snowy taiga biomes
  • yaks have constantly growing hair that comes in three states: shaved, groomed, and overgrown
  • both shaved and groomed yaks are hostile to players, but overgrown yaks are not
  • overgrown yaks can be tamed by being fed wheat by players and once tamed, will no longer be hostile to players in any growth state, unless provoked
  • a tamed yak will follow the player provided that the player is holding the custom “Stone Staff” item, and the yak is not overgrown
  • regardless of whether a yak is tamed or not, yaks can be sheared to drop brown wool from the overgrown state into the groomed state, and from the groomed state into the shaved state
  • if provoked in any state by being dealt damage, Yak will become hostile to the attacker, including their owners
  • when killed, yaks drop Raw Yak, Yak Horns, and an amount of brown wool depending on the growth state
  • Yak Horns can be crafted into Bonemeal, and Raw Yak can be cooked into Cooked Yak

Caiman:

  • caiman spawn in both swampland biomes and mangrove biomes
  • caiman are extremely hostile to players, often spawning below the water and attacking by surprise
  • caiman drop Raw Caiman when killed which can be cooked into Cooked Caiman

Grizzly Bear:

  • Grizzly Bears spawn in roofed forests, often accompanied by baby Grizzly Bears
  • Grizzly Bears are hostile to players, but like their polar relatives, are only a threat if you get too close
  • when killed, Grizzly Bears drop Raw Bear which can be cooked into Cooked Bear
  • Polar Bears have also been modified to drop Raw Bear instead of fish

Hippo:

  • Hippos spawn in jungle biome
  • Hippos come in two noticeable states: hungry and full
  • the state of a Hippo is illustrated through the position of its mouth, either slightly open or closed respective to the state
  • hungry Hippos are hostile players and deal a lot of damage, but can be satiated if fed a melon before they get too close
  • when fed, Hippos transition into the full state where their mouth closes and they are no longer aggressive by default until they become hungry again
  • regardless of the hunger state, Hippos will attack anything that deals them damage
  • when killed, Hippos drop Raw Hippo, which can be cooked into Cooked Hippo

Deer:

  • Deer spawn in Oak Forests
  • all Deer drop Raw Deer, but deer with antlers have a chance to also drop up to two Deer Antlers
  • Deer Antlers can be crafted into six Bonemeal and Raw Deer can be smelted into Cooked Deer

Macaque:

  • Macaques spawn in Mountain and Extreme Hills biomes
  • when killed, Macaque drop Light Gray Wool
  • Macaques are lazy creatures that spend of most of their days napping
  • baby Macaques can be tamed with either Sweet Berries, Glow Berries, Apples, or Melon Slices
  • once tamed, Macaques will follow the player, or can be made to sit

Moose:

  • Moose spawn in Taiga Forests with or without antlers
  • when killed, Moose drop Raw Moose and up to two Moose Antlers if they had any
  • Raw Moose can be cooked into Cooked Moose and Moose Antlers can be crafted into six Bonemeal

Gazelle:

  • Gazelle spawn in Savanna Biomes
  • Gazelle drop Raw Gazelle when killed and up to two Gazelle Horns if they had horns
  • Raw Gazelle can be cooked into Cooked Gazelle and Gazelle Horns can also be crafted into six Bonemeal
