The weather in the Swamp biome is very wet with lots of precipitation. You will find that it rains a lot.

The vegetation found in the Swamp biome is lily pads, vines, blue orchids, brown mushrooms, red mushrooms and sugar canes:

Overworld Mobs that Spawn at Night

You will still find the usual Overworld mobs that spawn at night in the Swamp biome, such as creepers, endermen, skeletons, spiders, witches and zombies:

Witch Huts

If you look carefully in the Swamp biome, you will sometimes find a Witch Hut like the one below:

When the world was first generated, a witch spawned inside of this Witch Hut.
