Suggestion Provider Fix Mod
Suggestion Provider Fix Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.4) can be used on both the client and the server to improve how ideas are filtered when a player is typing a command. Most of the time, Vanilla will start by comparing the input to the beginning of the candidate proposal. If there is no match, the idea will be thrown out. It looks for a period or an underscore in certain situations, and then it reads the data. Because it is so strict, when someone is trying to find something, it can often be annoying. Because of this hack, that behavior has changed, and now any item that includes the input in any way will be added. Suggestions can be put into one of two groups: those that are screened on the server (based on the information the client gives) and those that are not. The first group includes things like functions, loot tables, item modifications, predicates, and other types of content. These include things like the scoreboard’s rules, the colors, the blocks, and more. A workaround has been made so that the client can use the new way of filtering thoughts even when the server isn’t available. This is necessary because the server is in charge of filtering in a first way. This mod can also be put on the server, and even if a client doesn’t have it, it still makes ideas better.
Features:
- A minor change to Minecraft’s suggestion provider so that it auto-completes resource locations for all mod namespaces.
