Strength Status Effect Wiki Guide

This Minecraft tutorial explains the Strength effect with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.

Background

The Strength effect is a status effect that increases the amount of damage you do to other players or mobs when attacking with a melee attack.

There are levels of Strength such as Strength II, Strength III, Strength IV and so on. The higher the level of Strength, the higher the damage you will inflict on others when you melee attack.

When the Strength effect wears off, the icon and particle effects will disappear. You will be back to your normal status.

Duration

Depending on how you get the effect, the duration of the Strength effect will be different. To see how much time is remaining for the effect, go to your inventory menu.

In this example, it says 3:55 under Strength so this means that there is 3 minutes and 55 seconds remaining of the Strength effect.
