Experience the splendor of the “Sint-Janskerk” or Saint-John’s Church, a remarkable Minecraft creation that pays homage to a Neo-Byzantine masterpiece in Waalwijk, the Netherlands. This virtual rendition stands as a testament to the real-world church, built between 1923 and 1925 in a Neo-Byzantine architectural style. Unlike the Saint John’s Cathedral in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, dedicated to Saint John the Evangelist, this church is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist. One of its distinctive features is the 16 copper domes, with 12 of them acquiring a unique turquoise hue over time due to oxidization.
