Repurpose Mod

Repurpose Mod (1.16.5, 1.12.2) provides a number of different ways to enhance the vanilla experience of Minecraft and provide easier or alternative ways to obtaining materials or blocks. This is to allow you to focus on what you really want to do, build.

Features:

Bed Compass:

This is an item which tells you how far away you are from your bed when it’s used. It will also tell you how north, south, east, west, higher and lower you are from it.

Note: If you haven’t slept yet it won’t be able to find your bed location. Also if your bed was destroyed since you slept in it but haven’t died yet it will still point to the old location.

Enchantment Items:

Enchantment items are something added by this mod to give more use to the anvil.

Each of these items must be combined with a book and some experience in the anvil to give an enchanted book.

Fluffy Fabric

This item creates an Enchanted book with Silk Touch.

Snorkel

This item creates an Enchanted book with Water Breathing 1.

Whetstone

This item creates an Enchanted book with Sharpness 1.

Stone Shears:

This item behaves exactly like regular shears but uses a cheaper recipe. This item has less durability than regular shears but you aren’t using up any iron to make it either.

Swift Blades:

These are swords which have the same sweeping effect as their vanilla counter parts. The big difference is that these swords have no attack delay.

Swift Blade: Wood

This one can be made from any vanilla wood plank.

Redstone Clock:

This is a block which emits a redstone signal at regular intervals. The block can be configured when placed to emit redstone signals from any or none of the sides and you can configure how long it emits power and how long it is un-powered.

When you break the block the configuration is lost and must be re-configured when placed again.

Can turn this back into a dirt block by placing 2 slabs on top of each other in a crafting grid.

Note: If there is grass blocks or any other of the grass blocks added by this mod nearby, this block can turn into a grass slab.

Dirt Stairs:

This is a block which looks and behaves similar to dirt except it’s stairs. Perfect for decoration or for creating some cheap stairs for your base.

Enriched Farmland:

This is a block allows you to plant **anything ** on it. There doesn’t need to be any water near by and plants always grow at their fastest rate.

Redstone Scanner:

This is a very interesting redstone utility block. You can configure it to look for specific types of entities and emit a redstone signal when one of those selected entities enters it’s scanning range.

This allows you to set up sophisticated traps or other triggers in the world. On a mundane level you can use this to open a door to your base as you approach and not let it open when monsters approach. So it can be safer than a pressure plate.

When you break the block the configuration is lost and must be re-configured when placed again.

Mini Block of Redstone:

This is a block which emits a redstone signal at all times. This is similar to the normal redstone block except this one emits about half the power. This allows you emit consistent power without using up too much redstone.

This is a block which looks and behaves similar to glowstone except it’s half as large. Perfect for decoration or for other buildings. Can be doubled up to look like a normal glowstone block

Can turn this back into a glowstone block by placing 2 slabs on top of each other in a crafting grid.
