Raw Rabbit Wiki Guide

This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft raw rabbit with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.

In Minecraft, raw rabbit is a food item that you can not make with a crafting table or furnace. Instead, you need to find and gather this item in the game.

  • Creative Menu Location is the location of the item in the Creative Inventory menu.

How to get Raw Rabbit in Survival Mode

You can add raw rabbit to your inventory in Survival mode by killing a rabbit. So let’s get started!

1. Find a Rabbit

You first need to find a rabbit.

Rabbits can be found in the Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Old Growth Pine Taiga, Snowy Plains, Grove, Snowy Slopes, Meadow and Desert biomes (the color of the rabbit varies depending on the biome).

2. Attack and Kill the Rabbit

Once you find a rabbit, you need to attack it. When you attack the rabbit, it will turn pink as it takes damage.

Continue to chase and attack the rabbit.

TIP: When a rabbit is trying to escape your attack, it can hop right over your fences!

Once you have killed the rabbit, it may drop different items each time such as raw rabbit, rabbit’s foot, or rabbit hide. There isn’t a 100% chance that the rabbit will drop raw rabbit when it dies. If it doesn’t drop one, find another rabbit and try again.

In this example, when the rabbit died it dropped raw rabbit.

3. Pick up the Raw Rabbit

Make sure you pick up any dropped items before they disappear.

These are useful items and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
