Not Enough Roofs Mod
Not Enough Roofs Mod 1.12.2 adds almost 50 new decorative Blocks to the game for pretty and easy-to-build roofs. Additionally, it adds two new materials: Slate and Terracotta. Slate can be found deep underground while Terracotta is made simply by smelting bricks again.
Have you ever wondered why the inhabitants of Minecraft build their roofs exclusively out of wood and bricks that look exactly like stairs? This mod is for you.

Slate can be smelted to Slate Bricks
If you smelt a brick, you will get terracotta
