Netherite Recycling Mod
In the vanilla game, when an iron or gold tool, weapon or armor piece reaches lower durability, you have the option to smelt it in a furnace to retain some of their respective ingots. But the same cannot be said for netherite gear. If a piece of netherite gear reaches a lower point of durability and is about to break, your only option is to repair it. But the cost of repairing an item increases exponentially, and eventually the piece of gear becomes too expensive to be repaired. With Netherite Recycling Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) installed, you now have the option to smelt the netherite gear in a regular or blast furnace to retain some of the scraps.
