Nether Gold Ore Mod 1.12.2 just add a vanilla style thing to make it worth spending time into the nether. The Nether Gold ore is a new ore that spawns everywhere in the nether. It’s pretty rare but the veins are pretty big.

When mined will drop between 4 and 6 (increased by 1 per fortune level) nuggets. (But be aware. Gold is pigmen’s treasure and if you steal it they have a chance to get angry at you.)
