- NaNny is a Minecraft Forge mod designed to address the issue of mods that mishandle numeric values like entity health and absorption, causing them to become NaN (Not-a-Number).
Event Handling and Configuration:
- NaNny efficiently tackles the problem by intercepting various in-game events, such as LivingAttackEvent, LivingDamageEvent, LivingHealEvent, and LivingHurtEvent.
- It not only cancels these problematic events but also offers the option to heal affected entities as needed.
- Users can customize NaNny’s behavior through a TOML configuration file (nanny-server.toml) located in the world/serverconfig directory.
Key Configuration Options:
- doHeal: Allows enabling or disabling the setting of health for entities when NaN values are encountered (Default: true).
- health: Specifies the percentage of maximum health to set for entities when NaN values are encountered (Default: 1.0).
log: Provides the choice to log events that set entities’ health to NaN (Default: true).
