Mystic Potions Mod
If you feel like the vanilla protons are underpowered and if they are not enough for you, Mystic Potions Mod (1.20.4, 1.19.4) is for you. This mod introduces dozens of new potions that can give the player some unique ability. For example, the air swim potion gives you the ability to swim in air, as if you were in water. All of the potions come in bottled, arrow, splash and lingering variants. Details and recipes of the different potions added by this mod are given below.
Features:
Thunderous Potion
- Instantly strikes lighting on Mobs/Players.
- Brewed by putting a Lightning Rod on top of a Brewing Stand and Awkward Potions in the empty slots when the lightning rod is struck the Thunderous Potions will be created.
- Thunderous Potion + Glowstone Dust = Strong Thunderous Potion
Explosive Potion
- Instantly explodes Mobs/Players when used.
- Awkward Potion + TNT = Explosive Potion
- Explosive Potion + TNT = Strong Explosive Potion
- Strong Explosive Potion + TNT = Extra Strong Explosive Potion
Freezing Potion
- Freezes Mobs/Players for the duration of the potion.
- Awkward Potion + Powder Snow Bucket = Freezing Potion
- Freezing Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Freezing Potion
Warming Potion
- Keeps Mobs/Players safe from Freezing.
- Hurts Snow Golems.
- Freezing Potion + Blaze Powder = Warming Potion
- Warming Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Warming Potion
- Long Freezing Potion + Blaze Powder = Long Warming Potion
Burning Potion
- Burns any Mobs/Players for the duration of the potion.
- Warming Potion + Blaze Powder = Burning Potion
- Long Warming Potion + Blaze Powder = Long Burning Potion
Corrosive Potion
- Destroys Metal Items in Mobs/Players (Anything crafted with Iron/Copper/Netherite)
- Hurts Iron Golems.
- Strong Poison Potion + Ghast Tear = Corrosive Potion
- Corrosive Potion + Glowstone Dust = Strong Corrosive Potion
Blindness Potion
- Gives Players the Blindness Effect.
- Night Vision Potion + Ink Sac = Blindness Potion
- Long Night Vision Potion + Ink Sac = Long Blindness Potion
- Night Vision Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Blindness Potion
Darkness Potion
- Gives Players the Darkness Effect.
- Blindness Potion + Sculk = Darkness Potion
- Long Blindness Potion + Sculk = Long Darkness Potion
- Blindness Potion + Echo Shard = Darkness Potion
- Long Blindness Potion + Echo Shard = Long Darkness Potion
- Darkness Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Darkness Potion
Decay Potion
- Gives Mobs/Players the Wither Effect.
- Awkward Potion + Wither Rose = Decay Potion
- Decay Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Decay Potion
- Decay Potion + Glowstone Dust = Strong Decay Potion
Homing Potion
- Teleports the Player to their bed.
- Teleportation Potion + (Any Color Bed) = Homing Potion
Recovery Potion
- Teleports the Player to their last Death Location.
- Teleportation Potion + Recovery Compass = Recovery Potion
Teleportation Potion
- Teleports affected randomly for the duration of the potion.
- Awkward Potion + Chorus Fruit = Teleportation Potion
- Teleportation Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Teleportation Potion
Undying Potion
- Keeps the Mobs/Players Affected from dying.
- Awkward Potion + Totem of Undying = Undying Potion
- Undying Potion + Redstone Dust = Undying Potion
Air Swim Potion
- Players Can now Swim in the Air.
- Hold CTRL + W to Swim
- Hold Space for More Upwards Lift
- Dolphins Grace Potion + Phantom Membrane = Air Swim Potion
- Air Swim Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Air Swim Potion
Dolphins Grace Potion
- Gives Players the Dolphins Grace Effect.
- Awkward Potion + Redstone Dust = Dolphins Grace Potion
- Dolphins Grace Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Dolphins Grace Potion
- Dolphins Grace Potion + Glowstone Dust = Strong Dolphins Grace Potion
Levitation Potion
- Gives Players the Levitation Effect.
- Slow Falling Potion + Shulker Shell = Levitation Potion
- Long Slow Falling Potion + Shulker Shell = Long Levitation Potion
- Levitation Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Levitation Potion
Gravitation Potion
- Gravity Flips when you crouch.
- Levitation Potion + Nether Star = Gravitation Potion
Slippery Potion
- Mobs/Player Block Friction Reduced.
- Awkward Potion + Blue Ice = Slippery Potion
- Slippery Potion + Redstone = Long Slippery Potion
Absorption Potion
- Increased Health Absorption.
- Awkward Potion + Gold Ingot = Absorption Potion
- Absorption Potion + Redstone Ingot = Long Absorption Potion
- Absorption Potion + Glowstone Ingot = Strong Absorption Potion
Protection Potion
- Increased Armor Protection.
- Awkward Potion + Scute = Protection Potion
- Protection Potion + Redstone Dust = Strong Protection Potion

Health Boost Potion
- Increased Health.
- Absorption Potion + Blaze Powder = Health Boost Potion

Confusion Potion
- Nausea Effect.
- Awkward Potion + Warped Fungus = Confusion Potion

Mining Fatigue Potion
- Mining Speed Slowdown
- Awkward Potion + Crimson Fungus = Mining Fatigue Potion

Haste Potion
- Mining Speed Increase
- Mining Fatigue Potion + Crimson Fungus = Haste Potion

Fatal Poison Potion
- Poison that can fully kill.
- Poison Potion + Crimson Fungus = Fatal Poison Potion
- Long Poison Potion + Crimson Fungus = Long Fatal Poison Potion
- Strong Poison Potion + Crimson Fungus = Strong Fatal Poison Potion
- Fatal Poison Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Fatal Poison Potion
- Fatal Poison Potion + Glowstone Dust = Strong Fatal Poison Potion
Silence Potion
- Negates player footsteps
- Prevents Warden from hearing you(can still smell you if you stand too close)
- Awkward Potion + (Any Color Wool) = Silence Potion
- Silence Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Silence Potion
Nullifier Potion
- Negates all potion effects other than itself
- Protects against all effects for the Duration
- Mundane Potion + Milk Bucket = Nullifier Potion
- Nullifier Potion + Redstone = Long Nullifier Potion
Infection Potion
- Slowly adds blindness, nausea, hunger
- At the end of the potion it does 20 hearts of damage if you have 21+hearts or remove the effect you will survive
- Converts Mobs/Players to Zombies on death
- Players/Mobs are contagious and can be spread through attacks
- Contagious after Zombification
- Strong Hunger Potion + Rotten Flesh = Infection Potion
- Infection Potion + Redstone Dust = Long Infection Potion
