Multishot Enchantments Wiki Guide

This Minecraft tutorial explains the Multishot enchantment with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.

Background

The Multishot enchantment allows a player to shoot 3 arrows at a time but only 1 arrow will be used from the inventory (the cost is only 1 arrow and not 3 arrows with this enchantment).

You can add the Multishot enchantment to any crossbow using an enchanting table, anvil, or game command. Then use the enchanted crossbow to fight and see 3 arrows fly through the air at a time!!

The maximum level for the Multishot enchantment is Level 1. This means that you can only enchant an item with up to Multishot I, and nothing higher for this enchantment.

Hold the Enchanted Crossbow

Once you have a crossbow that is enchanted with Multishot, you need to hold the enchanted crossbow in your hand and use it. When you attack with this enchanted crossbow, you will see 3 arrows shot from the crossbow at once but only 1 arrow will be used from your inventory.

Let’s show you what happens when we shoot a crossbow that is enchanted with Multishot.

When you shoot the crossbow, 3 arrows will be shot at once. Also, the number of arrows in our hotbar only went down by 1 (Slot 2 of our hotbar went from 64 arrows down to only 63 arrows).
