Monster Of The Ocean Depths Mod
Mob A from the original Minecraft Earth mob vote has been added to the game via the Monster Of The Ocean Depths Mod (1.16.5). The monster swims backward while forcing itself forward with its jaws. When it encounters a wall, it will bounce off of it and reorient its progress. It can be found in all of the deep ocean biomes excluding the freezing one. It has a health of 50 and every time it bites you, it will deal 2.5 hearts worth of harm. When it detects something that looks like land in the water, it will shift its position and swim ahead with its mouth wide open. When it is close enough, it will stick out its tongue and grab hold of its prey, dragging it down into the depths of the ocean. If you are successful in killing one, you will receive an accomplishment as well as a new consumable item known as a serrated tooth. The tooth can be used in two ways: If you use it to attack an enemy, that enemy will be considerably slowed for about three seconds, but you will receive one heart of damage in exchange. The tooth does not deal more damage than your fist; all it does is slow down the opponent.
