Ice And Fire Dragonseeker Mod

Having trouble finding dragon lairs? Look no further! Ice and Fire Dragonseeker Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds four tools, called dragonseekers, that help with tracking down dragons. At the same time, they don’t make it too easy. You can confirm that a dragon is present nearby, and (with the better dragonseekers) get a rough idea of its location, but you’ll have to finish the search yourself. The dragonseeker has 4 types: basic, epic, legendary, and godly. As you may have noticed, the Ice and Fire mod rarely generates dragon nests. So, finding them is extremely difficult. You can increase the spawn rate of nests and make them less valuable. Or you can leave it at that. However, if you don’t want to run enormous distances and spend hours looking for nests, the dragonseekers can be of great help. The dragonseeker will make your search easier. But this tool is not so easy to use. The dragonseeker will not detect the exact location of the dragon but will only create a certain signal if the dragon is present nearby.

Features:

  • Basic Dragonseeker: The basic dragonseeker looks similar to the regular dragon command staff (the one that controls the dragon). You can spot the differences only if you look closer – the regular staff has a light brown hilt, while the dragonseeker has a dark brown hilt. Besides, unlike the dragonseeker, the regular staff will deplete its durability over time. The basic dragonseeker is crafted with a dragon skull and two netherite ingots. However, given the resource cost, this dragonseeker has a very short range – only 150 blocks. And it is often mistaken, sometimes reacting to dragon skeletons and even to tamed dragons. Its durability is only 128 units. That is it is advisable to create a more powerful dragonseeker of a higher level.
  • Epic Dragonseeker: If you’re looking for something better, you can also create an epic dragonseeker. To obtain it, you need to combine a nether star with a basic dragonseeker in a smithing table. The epic dragonseeker is more durable than the basic one. Its durability is 256 units. The epic dragonseeker makes fewer mistakes and does not react to dragon skeletons. The search radius is several times higher than that of the previous one. Besides, when the epic dragonseeker detects the alleged location of the dragon, it starts to emit rather loud signals, which is very convenient.
  • Legendary Dragonseeker: Once you’ve obtained dragonsteel, you can create a legendary dragonseeker. Its durability is 512 units, while its range is many times higher than that of the previous dragonseekers. What’s more, this dragonseeker won’t make mistakes and react to skeletons and other players’ tamed dragons. Besides, they make more noise as you get closer to the target.
  • Godly Dragonseeker: The fourth staff is only available in creative mode and therefore has no crafting. It has a range of 300 blocks and works without any errors. Besides, it has no durability and doesn’t break. Unlike the previous dragonseekers, the godly one will print the exact coordinates of the nearest dragon. To easily find an underground cave, you need to take either a legendary or godly dragonseeker and regularly use it while running around the world. At the same time, you must carefully listen to what’s happening. If the dragon is nearby, the dragonseeker will make sounds. And if not, nothing will happen. However, if you do not have a godly dragonseeker, you still have to spend quite some time looking for the dragon since other dragonseekers only indicate its approximate location.
