1. Open the Crafting Menu

First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make an Explorer Decorated Pot, place 4 Explorer Pottery Sherds in the 3×3 crafting grid.

When making an Explorer Decorated Pot, it is important that the Explorer Pottery Sherds are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 Explorer Pottery Sherd in the second box.
