Hostility Level (Neutral)

An enderman is a neutral mob. The termÂ mobÂ is short forÂ mobileÂ and is used to refer to all living, moving creatures in the game such as chickens, creepers, and endermen. Because an endermen is a neutral mob, it will only attack you in Survival mode if you look at the enderman in the eyes or attack the enderman first. It will never attack you in Creative mode.

Health Points

Where to Find an Enderman

Once an enderman has spawned in the dark, it can survive in the daylight. An enderman will die in the rain.

TIP:Â If you do not light your house, an enderman can spawn inside your house. So it is a good idea, to place torches inside your house to keep them out. However, once an enderman has spawned, it can teleport into your house.

If you are having trouble finding an enderman, you canÂ summon an endermanÂ using a cheat or you can use aÂ spawn egg.

Weapon

An enderman does not carry a weapon.

Attack Method

An enderman uses teleportation when attacking you. It will teleport near you, try to hit you and then teleport away when you try to attack it back.

TIP #1: Do not attack the enderman with a bow and arrow. The enderman will teleport away before the arrow reaches its target.

TIP #2: If you attack an enderman, try to find a location where your back is against something solid so that the enderman can not teleport behind you and catch you by surprise.

Drops

Experience Points

Special Skills
