- Platform is the platform that applies.
- Version(s)Â is the Minecraft version numbers where the item can be found in the menu location listed (we have tested and confirmed this version number).

How to get an Ender Pearl in Survival Mode
You can add an ender pearl to your inventory in Survival mode by killing an enderman. So let’s get started!
1. Find an Enderman
You first need to find an enderman.
You can find enderman in most Overworld biomes in light levels of 7 or less. You can also find enderman in the End dimension in large numbers.
2. Attack and Kill the Enderman
Once you find an enderman, you need to attack it.
TIP #1: Do not attack the enderman with a bow and arrow. The enderman will teleport away before the arrow reaches its target.
TIP #2: If you attack an enderman, try to find a location where your back is against something solid so that the enderman can not teleport behind you and catch you by surprise.
When you attack the enderman, it will turn pink as it takes damage.
Continue to chase and attack the enderman. Once you have killed the enderman, it may drop an ender pearl. There isn’t a 100% chance that the enderman will drop an ender pearl when it dies. If it doesn’t drop one, find another enderman and try again.
3. Pick up the Ender Pearl
Make sure you pick up the ender pearl before it disappears.
An ender pearl is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
