Ender Io Zoo Mod

Ender IO Zoo Mod (1.12.2) is an addon to Ender IO Mod. It focuses primarily on a small collection of endearing fairytale entities that are mostly passive, yet will defend themselves well and are bearing peculiar gifts for the Player, which can be used to create engaging paraphernalia. A small mod with a big heart and a few surprises.

Ender IO Zoo Mod (1.12.2) - Mob Addon for Ender IO 1

Its main focus is its various mobs, both monsters and animals. The mod also adds several new enchantments, potions, and three special types of TNT. The project began as part of Ender IO, but the developers questioned the content’s place in the mod. It was eventually moved it to its own standalone mod, called EnderZoo. This mod is now discontinued after it was re-merged into Ender IO as an optional addon module. Some of EnderZoo’s mobs were included in EmberRoot Zoo, a mod adding mobs from EnderZoo, Embers, Roots 1, and some original mobs.

Features:

  • Concussion Creeper: The Concussion Creeper is a hostile mob from Ender IO Zoo. It acts and looks very similar to the vanilla Creeper, except it wears a bandanna and is more bluish-green. Instead of destroying blocks and damaging entities, the Concussion Creeper will teleport all entities within its explosion range to a random location in its teleportation range when it explodes. Its explosion range is configurable and defaults to 5 blocks. Its teleportation range is configurable and defaults to 32 blocks. Entities can be teleported vertically either above or below by half of the range. By default it has 20 (HeartHeartHeartHeartHeartHeartHeartHeartHeartHeart) health points, though this can be configured in the mod’s config.cfg file. When killed, it has an even chance to drop either Confusing Powder, an Ender Fragment, or Gunpowder.
  • Confusing Charge: The Confusing Charge is an explosive added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It can ignited through Flint and Steel. It will not break any blocks or cause any damage, but it will cause Nausea II for 15 seconds.
  • Confusing Powder: The Confusing Powder is an item added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It is dropped from the Concussion Creeper. It is used to create Potion of Confusion, Confusing Charge and Concussion Charge.
  • Decay: Decay is an enchantment added by the EnderZoo mod. It can be applied to swords and Bows. It will apply the Withering effect to attacked entities. The Decay enchantment does the exact same thing as the Withering enchantment. Originally, the Decay enchantment could only apply to swords, but this is no longer the case.
  • Dire Wolf: The Dire Wolf is a neutral mob added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It is a special version of the Wolf. If the player moves within 4 blocks of the Wolf, it will become hostile. Each attack will inflict 10 (HeartHeartHeartHeartHeart) points of damage, or 5.5 (HeartHeartHalf Heart) points of damage in hard mode. The Dire Wolf cannot be tamed.
  • Ender Charge: The Ender Charge is an explosive added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It can ignited through Flint and Steel. It will not break any blocks or cause any damage, but it will teleport all of the entities within its range up to 64 blocks away (per default).
  • Ender Fragment: The Ender Fragment is an item added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It is dropped from Concussion Creepers and Enderminies. It is used to create Ender Pearls, Ender Charges and Concussion Charges.
  • Enderminy: The Enderminy is a neutral mob added by the Ender IO Zoo mod, which spawns in the Overworld on Grass Blocks (which can be configured). It is a smaller version of the Enderman, with 20 health (10 hearts). The Enderminy will lose its neutrality when hit. If configured, the Enderminy will lose its neutrality if a player looks directly into its eyes (like the Enderman). It will automatically attack Creepers (including Concussion Creepers). When attacked, the Enderminy will call upon other nearby Enderminies to gang up on the attacker, via teleportation. Each strike of the Enderminy will inflict 10 damage (5 hearts). When killed, it will drop an Ender Pearl, with two 50% chances of dropping an Ender Fragment (the number of chances will be increased with each level of the Looting enchantment).
  • Fallen Knight: The Fallen Knight is a hostile mob added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It is a special version of the Skeleton. It is equipped with a random Vanilla sword or Bow. It is also equipped with a random Vanilla armor set, and each piece has a 90% chance of being equipped. It has a 30% chance of being equipped with a Shield. There is a 75% chance of the Fallen Knight being mounted on a Zombie Horse when spawned. The Fallen Knight will inflict 4 damage (2 hearts) plus damage from its weapon used when attacking.
  • Guardians Bow: The Guardians Bow is a weapon added by Ender IO Zoo. It is currently not obtainable without cheats or creative mode. It has higher durability than the vanilla Bow.
  • Khndrel Keght: The Khndrel Keght (also referred to as the Dirt Slime in the config and code) is a hostile mob added by Ender IO Zoo. It is a special version of the Magma Cube. It has a 20% change of spawning when a Dirt block or a Grass Block is broken without a proper tool. Each attack will inflict 3 points of damage if it is small, 5 points if it is of medium size, or 8 if it is large. When a Khndrel Keght is killed it has a chance (which can be altered in the config file) of spawning another one that is larger in size (small to medium, medium to large). While only the small version of the Khndrel Keght will spawn through breaking dirt, hitting a small Khndrel Keght with dirt has a small chance to spawn a medium sized one. The Khndrel Keght’s spawn egg will randomly spawn any size Khndrel Keght. In versions for Minecraft 1.12.* the Khndrel Keght drops a lump of Clay but no experience when it is killed.
  • Owl: The Owl is a passive mob added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. They are found near rivers and in forest biomes. They behave similarly to Chickens. Owls can fly, and often fly upwards to perch on tall structures. Owls attack Spiders, and can be bred using Spider Eyes. Owls lay Owl Eggs on Leaves.
  • Owl Egg: The Owl Egg is an item added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. Owls passively drop Owl Eggs similarly to how Chickens drop (Chicken) Eggs. Right-clicking it will launch the Owl Egg. It has a 1/8 chance of spawning a baby Owl on collision. The Owl Egg is also used to create Potion of Rising.
  • Wither Cat: The Wither Cat is a neutral mob added by Ender IO Zoo. It is a special version of the Ocelot that can attack players. Wither Cats usually spawn with Wither Witches. The Wither Cat will lose its neutrality when attacked, or if its escort Wither Witch is attacked. When angry, the Wither Cat’s health will grow from 12 to 30 (Heart × 15), its body will enlarge and its eyes will turn red, and it will attack the player. Each attack will inflict 9 points of damage, or 11 points of damage in hard mode. The Wither Cat is immune to the Wither effect.
  • Wither Witch: The Wither Witch is a hostile mob added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It is a special version of the Witch that uses Splash Potion of Harming and Splash Potion of Decay. Each Wither Witch spawns with 1-2 (by default) Wither Cats. When killed, the Wither Witch will drop 1-2 (plus each extra level from the Looting enchantment) Withering Dusts, Potion of Healing, Potion of Decay, or Potion of Regeneration.
  • Withering: Withering is an enchantment added by the EnderZoo mod. It can be applied to swords and Bows. It will apply the Withering effect to attacked entities. The Withering enchantment does the exact same thing as the Decay enchantment. Originally, the Withering enchantment could only apply to Bows, but this is no longer the case.
  • Withering Dust: The Withering Dust is an item added by the Ender IO Zoo mod. It is dropped from the Wither Witch. It is used to create Potion of Decay.
