Eerie Hauntings Mod

The Eerie Hauntings Mod (1.19.4, 1.18.2) introduces ghosts that can directly haunt players and cause aural hallucinations as well as negative effects. It is possible to exorcise these ghosts in order to obtain resources that can be utilized for buffs, protection, and equipment. Games like Ghost Hunters Corp. and Phasmophobia served as a source of inspiration for this work. Each night, there is a remote possibility that a player will encounter a haunted location. When you kill entities, there is a greater possibility that you will experience hauntings during the night. If you do not experience any hauntings during the night, your chance will return to its initial level. If you don’t, a ghost will start to follow you around and cause trouble for you. You will need to consult the EMF counter and the old radio in order to determine how the spirit should be exorcised, and then you will need to acquire the appropriate tool to do so. Causing the ghost more fury by using the wrong tool to exorcise it is something you want to avoid at all costs!

Features:

  • Collect evidence by holding an EMF Counter or an Old Radio in your main hand.
  • If the device goes off with a visual message in your action bar, your haunting spirit caused interference on your device.
  • Unless easy mode is enabled, it is important you use the correct exorcism (noted in the item’s description) at the risk of angering the spirit.
  • Angering the spirit will make it more likely to use debuff actions against the player until sunrise.
  • During the day the spirit can only cause audio hallucinations.
  • Some special effects are used on stronger debuffs. These can be disabled in the client config if they are too intense or annoying to the user.
  • Several config options are included for pack makers and server runners to customize their player’s ghostly experiences.
