Ecospherical Expansion Mod

Ecospherical Expansion Mod (1.20.2, 1.18.2) aims to improve the world generation in Minecraft. And without a doubt, it could be said that the mod has successfully achieved its purpose. With this mod installed, you will have several world types to choose during world creation. Let us take a detailed look at them in the next section.

Features:

Default:

  • Terrain above the surface is the same as vanilla.
  • Caves are now much more open.
  • Oceans now lead into sprawling cave systems.

Large Biomes:

  • Adds some massive plateaus with smooth surfaces.
  • Biomes are much larger.

Amplified:

  • Biome generation has been altered to make Y63 and below always oceans.
  • World height has been extended to Y512.
  • Terrain has been reworked to add massive variation in style across large distances.
  • There are now small floating islands that generate above the existing terrain.

Tropospheric:

  • Sparse floating islands.
  • The bottom of the world is entirely submerged in the ocean.
  • The nether is also transformed in the same way.

Stratospherical:

  • Large, multi-layered, dense floating islands.
  • The bottom of the world is an empty void.
  • The nether is also transformed in the same way.

OG Stratospherical:

  • Ridiculously dense floating islands.
  • Insane amounts of verticality.
  • Does not have floating island rivers. (To stay consistent with the OG mod.)
  • The nether is not affected. (To stay consistent with the OG mod.)

Mesospherical:

  • A large, single layer of moderately spaced floating islands.
  • The bottom of the world is an empty void.
  • The nether is also transformed in the same way.

Thermospherical:

  • Two layers of sparse floating islands.
  • Floating islands are made to be more vertically variant.
  • The bottom of the world is an empty void.
  • The nether is also transformed in the same way.

Lithospherical:

  • Spawn on a 3x2x3 platform of oak logs with a single torch.
  • One massive cave system comprises the entire world.
  • World height has been lowered to Y128.
  • The nether is also transformed to have a similar appearance, but the height remains the same.

Asthenospherical:

  • Spawn on a 3x2x3 platform of oak logs with a single torch.
  • The top of the dimension is one massive ceiling.
  • One layer of small, but dense, floating islands.
  • World height has been lowered to Y128.
  • The nether is also transformed in the same way.

Exospherical:

  • Multiple layers of floating islands.
  • Floating islands have pointed bottoms.
  • The bottom of the world is an empty void.
  • The nether is also transformed in the same way.
