Dracomalum Mod is a new version of the Dragon Mounts 2 Addon (1.19) that everyone loves. Oddly enough, dragons will appear in Minecraft. The author presented a huge variety of creatures that differ not only in textures but also in characteristics. Dracomalum is a Minecraft add-on that adds not only new entities, and structures, but also adds a story! From the Overworld where huge Skysailors soar to the depths of the Nether where the Magma Dripper lurks, and to the high sky of the Aether where the Aether Dragon resides, your adventures will take you everywhere! So go on, befriend a dragon, and take to the skies!

Features:

The Aether

The Aether is a new “dimension” that you can travel to. To do so, use a crafting table, and craft an Aether Portal. Then, place down the portal, and walk in! After some loading, you’ll be transported into the new, “dimension”. Upon entering, you’ll find a drastically different landscape. The grass here is blue, and the trees are shimmering gold. And the mobs bare shiny gold wings. However, do not be fooled and tempted by the gold and peaceful blue, there are many new and dangerous enemies here. The most notable ones are the Aether Dragon and the Minotaur. They are the bosses of this realm. The Aether Dragon can be found inside the Aether Crystal atop the highest peak of the Aether, and the Minotaur can be found inside Labyrinth Island. Summon the Aether Dragon by right-clicking/long pressing on the Aether Crystal.

The Nether

The depths of the Nether are home to powerful creatures. Two bosses reside here. The first is the Nether Dragon, whose crystal can be found on top of the old King’s Fortress in the center of the Nether. The second boss is a much older one, who once resided in the Fortress, an ancient dragon. The Magma Dripper. A thousand blocks from the center of the Nether, lays his Volcano, his place of refuge. Before entering his chamber, however, it is heavily recommended to duel Ig, The Adamant Warlord whose hammer deals extra damage to the Magma Dripper. Ig can be found standing guard in one of The Volcano’s rooms.

About the Magma Dripper’s Ultimate Ability: The Magma Dripper has a full power attack that can nearly instantly kill anything. The only way to defend against this attack is to hold up a shield and heal yourself with potions or grapples.

The Overworld

The Overworld houses the most dragon-like creatures out of the four dimensions. Tall villager towers home to friendly traders can be found nearly everywhere. Not all village towers can live peacefully however, some have been ruined by Skysailors, who now sleep on their tops. In the windswept hills are the Fire Dragons, guarding their charred nests. In the far, white, arctic lands reside Blizzarions – Ice Drakes. Flying over a nest of snow and frost are Ice Dragons whose pale scales match their home. Far within the earth are Celestial Skulk Gliders, who bear their name rightly for they look and sound otherworldly. Alongside the Skulk Gliders lay the bones of a slain dragon long ago.

To Tame The Dragons

Many of you are here to take to the skies on the back of a Dragon. The first step of doing that is taming one. All the different tamable dragons have different methods of taming, which are listed below.

Dragon Taming Features:

• Wandering Feature: All dragons can be made to wander by interacting(right-click/long-pressing) with a stick. They can be told to follow in the same way.
• Firebreathing: To make your dragon breathe fire, ride it, then interact while holding a Dragon Whistle.
• Special Attack: Interact with an Ancient Dragon(Magma Dripper) while holding a Special Dragon Whistle
• Breeding: Tamed Dragons can be bred. For the Elemental/Dimensional Dragons, you need male and female variants to breed. Tamed Dragons can be bred by feeding them any meat.
• Equipping and Sitting a Skysailor: Due to the size of the Skysailor, you cannot equip it and make it sit at the same time. As an alternative, you must swap between the two by crouching and interacting with a stick.
• The tamed Magma Dripper does not die when in low health. It instead becomes knocked down for an hour, where it cannot do anything. Once the hour is up, the Magma Dripper will return to normal.

Note: To make the Ender Dragon egg hatchable, place it in any crafting place.

Dragon Taming Methods

• Aether, Nether, Ender: To tame one of these three dragons, you must first slay them. Killing them drops an egg, which you can then hatch. The hatched baby can be tamed with salmon, and then grown to an adult with any meat.
• Elemental Dragons(Ice, Fire): These dragons can be tamed by stealing the egg from their nest. The egg can then be hatched, and the baby is tamed with salmon. To grow it to an adult, feed it any meat.
• Skeleton Dragons: These dragons must be given the soul of another dragon to be reanimated. To do so, give it any dragon egg, and then it will become tamed to you. Make sure to put armor on it when in sunlight, else it’ll burn.
• Celestial Skulk Glider: The Skulk Glider can be tamed using a slimeball.
• Blizzarion: To tame this drake, you can either tame an adult by attempting to feed it while being attacked, or to kill an adult, and hatch the dropped egg. To tame it, feed it salmon or cod. The baby can be grown by feeding it any meat.
• Skysailor: Taming this dragon is a challenge, for you have to slay this powerful dragon. Slaying it drops an egg, which upon hatching, must be fed Dragon Meat.
• Ancient Dragons(Magma Dripper): Befriending is a better word, for these Dragons. They are the most challenging dragons to befriend, since they can only be found in dangerous fortresses. To befriend one of the Ancient Dragons, you must first duel them, to show them you are worthy. Upon their defeat, you speak to them(interact), and after speaking to them, the instructions to befriend them will be shown.
• Hatching a Dragon Egg: To hatch a dragon egg, place it down, then right-click/long-press it. Right-clicking/Long-pressing it begins the timer until the egg hatches. It usually takes 20 minutes for one egg to hatch. To pick the egg up again, simply “kill” the egg. It will drop the item upon its “death”.
