Configurable Despawn Timer Mod
Configurable Despawn Timer Mod (1.20.4, 1.19.4) allows players to change the specific timing that an item on the ground would go out of existence. The most annoying feature of the game is probably dumped items lingering around even after being dropped. Granted, many have accidentally dropped these items and wished to pick them up immediately, when others try to dispatch these items, they would often take too long to despawn and sometimes players would accidentally pick them up again. In hindsight, there are no real solutions for this rather than co-existing with this weird feature. However, with Configurable Despawn Timer, players can choose the specific timing that items would disappear, therefore, they may have better control over their drops and loots. The recommended timing would probably be about 7 seconds since it is adequate for any players to reconsider whether or not they want the items back.
