In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make a brewing stand, place 1 blaze rod and 3 cobblestones in the 3×3 crafting grid.

When making a brewing stand, it is important that the blaze rod and cobblestones are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 blaze rod in the second box.
