Alchemy Gadgetry Mod

Alchemy Gadgetry Mod (1.18.2) extends the functionality of potions by adding new items and recipes. One notable feature of this mod is the Potion Flasks. Players can unlock the recipe by picking up a potion, and then right-click on a flask in their inventory to decant a drinkable potion or water bottle into it. This allows players to mix multiple potions together to create a more potent effect. By drinking from a flask, players can also add to their current potion effects, extending the duration and strength of their buffs. This feature adds a layer of complexity to the game by giving players more control over their potion usage. Adding multiple drinkable potions to a flask results in a dilution of their duration, but not their potency. For example, if you mix a Speed II potion (8 minutes) with a Fire Resistance potion (3 minutes), the resulting mixture will grant both effects, but only for 3 minutes. However, if you drink the entire contents of the flask, you will receive the original duration of each potion added. Drinking from a flask will also add to your current potion effects if they are the same level. For instance, if you are currently under the effects of Speed I, drinking a flask that contains a Speed II potion will upgrade your speed to Speed II without losing the remaining time left on your Speed I buff. Another useful addition to the game is the Potion Slingshot. The recipe is unlocked by picking up a splash potion, and players can hold right-click with a slingshot in their hand to charge it up, similarly to a bow. When released, the slingshot will fire the first throwable potion in the player’s inventory with greater distance than if thrown by hand. This feature allows players to aim their potions more precisely, making it easier to hit targets.

Alchemy Gadgetry Mod (1.18.2) - Become a Master Alchemist 1

Features:

  • Potion Flasks:
Unlock the recipe by picking up a potion. Right-click on a potion flask in your inventory to decant a drinkable potion or water bottle into it. If you add multiple potions, each sip from the flask will give the effects of all the potions added. The strength of each potion will persist, but the duration will be diluted. Drink the entire flask to get the original duration of all the potions added. Drinking from a flask will add to your current effect durations if they are the same level.
  • Potion Slingshot:
Unlock the recipe by picking up a splash potion. Hold right-click with a potion slingshot in your hand to charge it, similar to a bow. It will fire the first throwable potion in your inventory (splash or lingering) with more distance than when thrown by hand.
  • Effigies:
Decant a drinkable potion or water bottle into an effigy by right-clicking on it in your inventory. Effigies may have a “resetting” condition but will not reset until their cooldown has expired.
  • Death Effigy:
Unlock the recipe by picking up a totem of undying. Applies ALL of the potions contained within the effigy upon being dealt lethal damage. Adding healing of some kind to the effigy will prevent the triggering damage from killing you.
  • Air Effigy:
Unlock the recipe by picking up a phantom membrane. Activates upon falling more than 10 blocks. Resets upon fall distance being reset, such as being grounded, touching water, cobwebs, etc.
  • Fire Effigy:
Unlock the recipe by picking up a wither skeleton skull. Activates upon being hurt by fire damage. Resets when not on fire or when you have fire resistance.
  • Water Effigy:
Unlock the recipe by picking up a nautilus shell. Activates upon taking damage due to drowning. Resets when you have a full breath meter, have water breathing, or conduit power.
