These plants spawn naturally on jungle trees at night and come in three color variants. They grow at any height above level 80 in jungle biomes. You can harvest them at any growth stage, and once you pick them, they stop growing.

Decorative Lanterns

Use scissors to harvest the cocoa and get lanterns. These come in nine different colors and three sizes. The best part: you can place them on any side of a block. They emit light just like normal lanterns, so you can build some really cool lighting setups in the jungle or anywhere else.

Farm Glowstone Dust

Harvest the cocoa by hand instead of using scissors and you’ll get glowing cocoa dust. Craft it like normal glowstone dust or smelt it down to regular glowstone dust. This means you can actually farm glowstone for the first time instead of hunting for it in the nether.

New Colored Blocks

Three new glowstone blocks and redstone lamp variants let you build with different glowing colors. Use the crafting recipes to mix your glowing cocoa dust into new color variations.
