Chest Cavity Mod takes body modification to the next level. Instead of storing items in chests, you store them in your own body. Craft a Chest Opener and open yourself up to extract organs from mobs, replace them with your own, and gain their abilities. Jump like a rabbit. Run fast like a horse. Think like an enderman. It’s creepy, it’s weird, and it’s exactly what some players want.
Beyond the organ system, you can also just dump your regular items into your body cavity for storage. It’s basically an inventory expansion that requires you to crack yourself open every time you want something.
What This Mod Adds
Organ System
Use the Chest Opener to cut yourself and mobs open. Extract their organs and see what abilities they have. Pop an organ into your own body and inherit those abilities. Want to move faster? Grab a horse organ. Need better jumping? Get a rabbit organ. The trade-off? You’re literally cutting yourself open, and replacing organs is risky business.
Body Storage
Your body is now storage space. Throw items into your chest cavity and carry more without needing a backpack mod. It’s convenient if you don’t mind the imagery.
Mob Ability Crafting
Don’t want to farm specific mobs? You can research and craft organs if you’ve got the right materials. The mod expands what’s possible when you combine body modification with crafting.
How to Install
This mod requires either Forge or Fabric. If you don’t have one installed yet:
Once your modloader is ready, download the version for your Minecraft build and drop the JAR file into your .minecraft/mods folder. Start the game and you’re set.
Requirements
This mod needs Fabric Modloader and Fabric API if you’re using Fabric. If you’re using Forge, just the modloader is enough.
Viewing Recipes
To see all the crafting recipes this mod adds, install Just Enough Items for Forge or Roughly Enough Items for Fabric. Both mods let you browse recipes in-game without leaving the interface.
