Plants Mod 1.12.2, 1.11.2 – Add Real Plants

Add 100+ real-world plants and extinct species to Minecraft. Features magical brewing cauldron, plant duplication, and detailed botanical content.

Plants Mod Overview

Plants Mod adds real-world plants to Minecraft, including extinct species and fictional varieties. The mod focuses on botanical depth with over 100 plant species, each with historical and scientific information. Whether you want to build a realistic garden or experiment with mystical brewing mechanics, this mod has you covered.

Key Features

Plant Collection

The mod includes plants from around the world: African lilies, aloe species, honeysuckle varieties, raspberries, and many more. Each plant appears in worldgen naturally across different biomes. Some are extinct in real life, making them exclusive to Minecraft.

Coagulated Plant Ball

Use plant balls on moss stone, grass, or soil to duplicate any plant. This gives you full control over growing your collection without waiting for random worldgen spawns. Place the ball on compatible blocks and it creates more plants of that species.

Magical Brewing Cauldron

A complex potion brewing system using plants instead of standard ingredients. Place the cauldron, fill it with three buckets of water, add two nether wart, then throw in six plants (double plants count as two). The plant’s color determines which potion you get. Add dragon’s breath for lingering potions or gunpowder for splash potions, then collect your potions with glass bottles.

Botania Integration

If you have Botania installed, the mod adds the Botania Excalibur sword. It’s creative-only unless you create a custom recipe for it.
