Do I need mods to use Refreshed Templates?

No. This is a data pack, not a mod. It works in vanilla survival mode without any mod loaders. Just add it to your datapacks folder.

Can I use this on a multiplayer server?

Yes. Drop it in the server's datapacks folder and reload. All players will benefit from the cheaper template recipes.

Will this break my existing world?

No. It only changes the crafting recipes going forward. Your current items and builds stay intact.

Do the templates work the same after crafting?

Completely. The only change is how you craft them. Once crafted, they function exactly like vanilla templates.

What if I want the original recipe back?

Just remove the data pack and reload your world. Your templates keep their functionality, but new recipes revert to vanilla.

What This Pack Does

Massive Diamond Savings
Craft any smithing template using just one diamond instead of eight. The remaining ingredients are themed to match each template. The Coast template, for example, uses cobblestone (because it’s associated with oceans). This means you can experiment with templates and build variety without draining your diamond stash.

Thematic Crafting Recipe
Each template keeps its theme. One diamond plus seven pieces of material that actually make sense for that template type. No random ingredients, no weird combinations. It feels right and looks good in your crafting grid.
