Tired of slowly inching up and down ladders? The Faster Ladder Climbing Mod lets you control your climbing speed just by looking up or down. Originally baked into the Quark Mod, this is the standalone version so you can get the feature without bloat.
How It Works
The mod is dead simple. Look straight down to zip down ladders faster. Look straight up to climb up faster. No keybinds to memorize, no weird mechanics. The speed boost is configurable in the mod options if the default feels too fast or too slow for your taste.
What You Need
This mod requires Minecraft Forge. Fabric version isn’t available. Pick the download link that matches your Minecraft version below.
Installation
If you’re new to mods, here’s the quick version:
- Download and install Minecraft Forge for your version
- Find your .minecraft folder (Windows: AppData/Roaming/.minecraft, Mac: Library/Application Support/minecraft, Linux: ~/.minecraft)
- Drop the mod file into the mods folder
- Launch the game and you’re done
