Do I need Forge or Fabric?

Most versions use Fabric. Some versions (1.19.3, 1.20.1, 1.20) have Forge versions available too. Pick whichever mod loader you're already using.

Will this work with other mods?

Yeah. Drip Sounds is lightweight and doesn't conflict with other mods. It just adds sounds, so it plays nice with everything.

Can I turn off certain sounds?

The mod adds ambient sounds automatically. Check the mod config folder if you want to adjust volume or disable specific effects.

Does it work on servers?

It's a client-side mod, so it only affects what you hear on your end. Your server doesn't need it installed.

What if I don't see a version I need?

Check if the mod has been updated on the author's page. If not, the version you're looking for might not have a release yet.

What It Does

The mod adds ambient sound effects that trigger naturally as you play:

Water dripping – You hear water droplets when water flows or collects
Lava sizzling – Lava makes a crackling sound when it contacts the ground or other materials
Particle effects – Dripping particles now have matching audio cues

That’s it. No complex mechanics. Just sounds that make the world feel more alive.

Installation

Requirements:

Fabric Modloader
Fabric API

Install steps:

Install Fabric or Forge for your Minecraft version
Download the mod jar file for your version (see links below)
Place the file in your .minecraft/mods folder
Launch the game
