Gems+ Mod 1.10.2, 1.9.4 | Emerald, Ruby Gems

Gems+ Mod adds 17 unique gem types to Minecraft, including emerald, ruby, sapphire, amethyst, topaz, phoenixite, jade, citrine, garnet, spinel, onyx, agate, malachite, tourmaline, chrysocolla, jasper, and sugilite. Mine the ores, craft tools and armor, and build with decorative gem blocks and glass.

What You Get

The mod adds complete ore sets for each gem type. For every gem, you get the ore, the gem itself, items, blocks, tools, armor, dusts, sand, and colored glass variations. Mine deeper and build better with tons of new materials.

Phoenixite Tools

Phoenixite is special. Right-click your Phoenixite tools on lava to repair them without using an anvil. These tools also work as flint and steel, so you can light fires and mobs without crafting anything extra. Perfect for survival and combat.

Colored Glass

Want decorative glass in gem colors? Put gems in a furnace to get gem dust. Mix the dust with two sand blocks to make colored sand. Smelt the colored sand and get matching colored glass for building.

How to Install

Gems+ requires Minecraft Forge.

1. Install Forge for your Minecraft version
2. Download the Gems+ mod file below
3. Place the .jar file in your .minecraft/mods folder
4. Launch Minecraft with the Forge profile

Recipes

The mod has many recipes. Install Just Enough Items (for Forge) or Roughly Enough Items (for Fabric) to see all crafting recipes in-game.
