The Pigstep music disc is one of the rarest items you can find in Minecraft. You can’t craft it, and you can’t get it from killing mobs (except in one special case). Instead, you need to explore the Nether and search through chests in Bastion Remnants.

Finding Pigstep in Bastion Remnants

Step 1: Head to the Nether

Build a Nether portal and travel to the Nether dimension. Pigstep music discs only spawn in one place: inside chests in Bastion Remnants. There’s no other way to find them.

Step 2: Locate a Bastion Remnant

Bastion Remnants are large fortified structures that generate in the Nether. They contain multiple rooms and chests scattered throughout. Once you find one, prepare for combat since Piglins and other mobs spawn here.

Step 3: Search the Chests

Open every chest you find inside the Bastion Remnant. Each chest might contain different loot. The Pigstep disc is rare, so you might need to explore multiple Bastions before finding one. When you do find it, grab it immediately and add it to your inventory.

Special Drop from Creepers

Here’s a trick: if a skeleton kills a creeper, the creeper will drop a random music disc. This includes Pigstep. It’s not the easiest method, but if you’re skilled with combat, you can set up a situation where this happens.
