7 Must-Try Minecraft Seeds for 1.20
Finding a good seed is half the fun of Minecraft. These 7 seeds give you solid starting locations with cool stuff nearby to explore. Whether you want mountains to build on, villages to raid, or unique biome combinations, there’s something here for you. All seeds work on both Java and Bedrock 1.20.
Seed #1: 29046
A solid all-rounder spawn point with mixed biomes close by. You get plains, forest, and ocean all within walking distance. Great village nearby for supplies, and the terrain is varied enough to keep things interesting without being too crazy.
Seed #2: 302
This one puts you right in a lush forest biome with water nearby. Perfect if you like building in dense greenery. Interesting cave systems underneath make it fun for mining early on without having to go far from base.
Seed #3: 8141988
A seed with strong mountain presence and multiple biomes stacked together. You get snowy peaks, dark forests, and regular mountains all in one area. Excellent for players who want dramatic terrain and plenty of building spots at different elevations.
Seed #4: 90125681
Unique spawn with good ocean exploration potential. Archipelago-style setup with islands scattered around. Several villages on nearby islands make early game progression smooth, and the water layout is perfect for building a boat-based base.
Seed #5: 16597686
Big open plains with mountain ranges in the distance. This is a builder’s dream since you have tons of flat space to work with. Valleys cut through the landscape, and you’ll find multiple villages scattered throughout the plains.
Seed #6: 6649728
A seed featuring lush caves and interesting underground generation. The surface has some cool rock formations, but the real treasure is below. Perfect for players who enjoy caving and mining as a main gameplay focus.
Seed #7: 87831865
Desert and savanna biomes dominate here with plenty of room to explore. Multiple temples and villages in the desert make this a great seed for structure hunting. Good for survival runs where you want variety in your landscape.

Compatibility
All 7 seeds work on both Java and Bedrock Edition 1.20. Note that Java and Bedrock sometimes generate slightly different terrain from the same seed, so your world won’t look identical across versions, but each seed is good on both platforms.
