About Dawn API

Dawn API is a Fabric library mod that gives other mods a foundation to build on. It comes with some useful commands built in that map makers can use on their own. If you’re building a custom map with commands, this mod adds some tools you won’t find in vanilla Minecraft.

Commands

/health – Control entity health

• /health add – Add health points
• /health set – Set health to a specific value
• /health query – Check current health

/foodbar – Manage hunger and saturation

• /foodbar add (food|saturation) – Increase food or saturation
• /foodbar set (food|saturation) – Set food or saturation to a value
• /foodbar query (food|saturation) – Check current food or saturation

/motion – Adjust entity movement

• /motion add – Add to entity motion
• /motion set – Set entity motion

Custom Entities

Custom TNT (dawn:custom_tnt) – A flexible version of TNT that lets you set the block display, explosion strength, and fuse time.

Flying Block (dawn:flying_block) – Like falling sand, but it flies upward instead. Fully customizable.
