WASD Moar Crossbows Data Pack adds 26 new crossbows to your game. Each one does something different. Some are practical, some are just for fun, some hit like a truck. The whole idea was to make crossbows that feel special but still fit Minecraft’s style.
All of these crossbows work in multiplayer. You can use them solo or with friends. The pack pulls in crossbows from the Moar Bows mod plus a handful of brand new ones.
What’s Included
Here’s the breakdown of what you get with this pack:
Burst Crossbow
Fires 4 extra arrows one right after the other when you shoot. It’s a bit much to combine with enchantments, but you can still try if you want.
Dragon’s Breath Crossbow
Creates an explosion of dragon’s breath where the arrow lands. The arrow itself doesn’t do much damage, and the breath effect is toned down. Can’t be bottled.
Egg Crossbow
Rains eggs from the sky as it travels. Yeah, it’s as weird as it sounds. One person’s idea, and it stuck.
Laser Crossbow
Shoots an instant laser straight to where you’re aiming. Damage is low, but it sets blocks on fire when you hit them.
Quickload Crossbow
Loads instantly with no reload time. Trade off: you can’t enchant it or repair it, otherwise it would be broken.
Zooming Crossbow
Zooms your camera in for a closer look. Problem: you can’t move while zoomed.
Requirements
You need WASD Libraries to use this pack.
You also need the matching resource pack. This data pack won’t work without it.
