Ice and Fire Addon for Minecraft Bedrock 1.20
Ever seen RLCraft and wanted those epic dragons in Minecraft? Ice and Fire Addon brings that experience to Bedrock Edition. You get massive dragons, deadly sea creatures, and mythical beasts that make the world feel way more dangerous and exciting. The addon is balanced for Bedrock, so it feels right whether you’re playing on a phone, console, or PC.
Dragons
There are three dragon types, each with different abilities and loot.
Fire Dragons spawn in plains biomes. They come in 4 sizes with increasing health and damage:
- Size 1: 20-102 health, 10 damage
- Size 2: 102-204 health, 14 damage
- Size 3: 208-316 health, 19 damage
- Size 4: 318-452 health, 24 damage (spawns in caves)
They shoot fireballs from distance and breathe fire when close. When flying, they deal massive wing damage.
Ice Dragons spawn in cold biomes and work similarly to fire dragons with the same size scaling. Instead of fireballs, they shoot ice balls and use ice breath attacks. They have the same wing damage mechanic in flight.
Lightning Dragons spawn in hills with the same 4-size progression. They fire lightning balls and use lightning breath. Their wing attacks are just as devastating as the other dragon types.
Sea Creatures
Sea Serpents are massive ocean predators that come in 5 sizes including an Ancient variant:
- Size 1: 50 health, 12 damage
- Size 2: 100 health, 15 damage
- Size 3: 150 health, 18 damage
- Size 4: 200 health, 21 damage
- Ancient: 239 health, 26 damage
They drop scales and teeth used for crafting sea warrior armor and tide tridents.
Hippocampus (sea horses) are tamable creatures found throughout the ocean. Tame them with sponges and ride them to get underwater breathing. When they die, they drop scales and sparkle effects.
Mermaids (sirens) spawn on beaches and are dangerous. They seduce and attack players with high damage. They drop sparkling scales when killed.
Mythical Creatures
Cyclops lurk in burrows in plains biomes. They’re aggressive and deal high damage. When killed, they drop skin, wool, and sometimes their eye. Equip a cyclops eye to weaken nearby mobs.
Hydra (9-headed snakes) are neutral creatures in swamps that attack farm animals but ignore players. Each head is a life, and they drop hearts when killed that give recovery effects.
Stymphalian Birds spawn in plains and shoot copper arrows. They’re dangerous from range but drop good loot when defeated.
The addon also includes glowing torches, auto-totems, trolls, death worms, amphitheres, cannons, and modified vanilla mobs for more variety.
Dragon Drops and Crafting
Kill dragons to get bones, scales, and skulls. Use these to craft dragon weapons, armor, and the dragon staff.
Collect dragon blood in glass jars to make potions:
- Fire dragon blood enhances fire attacks and does extra damage to ice dragons
- Ice dragon blood strengthens slow attacks and damages fire dragons
- Lightning dragon blood boosts your attacks and damages other dragons
You can drink the blood to gain temporary dragon powers.
Sea serpent teeth become tide tridents (16-30 damage thrown, 12 melee). Combine scales with sparkling scales for sea warrior armor. Wear the full set to get strength and power effects from the Heart of the Sea.
The addon also includes weapons from Spartan Weaponry that you can craft and use.
Installation Instructions
You need Minecraft Bedrock 1.20 or newer. Make sure Experimental Gameplay is turned on in your world settings.
Download the .mcaddon file and open it. Minecraft will import it automatically. Then activate it in your world settings before creating or entering a world.
